Auguste Escoffier School

The Auguste Escoffier School of Culinary Arts offers you a chance to learn classic cooking techniques and how to apply them to today’s modern cuisine in two intensive, hands-on programs – Culinary Arts and Pastry Arts. Alumni enjoy a 90%+ job placement rate. The school currently has two campus locations, Austin, TX and Boulder, CO.

Named after Auguste Escoffier (1846-1945), a pioneer in modern cooking and kitchen management, both Escoffier-Austin and Escoffier-Boulder offer you a chance to learn the basics through the nuanced with experienced professionals in a small class setting.

The Culinary Arts Program


The Culinary Arts program provides 40 weeks of intensive training. You will learn in the kitchen and also experience true farm-to-table life during a three-week externship focusing on producing, cooking and eating locally. Once you’ve completed the program, the school offers lifetime job placement assistance.

The Pastry Arts Program

The Pastry Arts program is a thorough, 8-month course of study covering classic pastry traditions. This program can stand-alone or be taken in addition to the Culinary Arts program. Small class sizes, extensive hands-on-training and personalized instruction provide you with a solid base on which to build your career. You can expect 95% graduation rate and a 92% job placement rate based on 2012-2013’s results.
